New Season at Camp Zaplana

 A new season has arrived at Camp Zaplana, bringing fresh energy, new ideas, and exciting improvements for our guests. Surrounded by forests and green hills near Ljubljana, the campsite is waking up once again with birdsong, fresh morning air, and the peaceful rhythm of countryside life.

This year, guests can enjoy a completely new reservation system, making booking simpler and more comfortable than ever before. As we can host only a limited number of guests, we highly recommend making a paid reservation in advance to secure your stay. A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking, while the remaining balance can be paid upon arrival in cash or by bank transfer. (BOOK NOW)

We have also expanded our toilet facilities to provide a better camping experience for travelers arriving from all over the world.

One of the biggest changes of the season is our new farmhouse — a place where tradition, hospitality, and local culture come together. Here, guests will be able to relax, meet fellow travelers, and experience the authentic atmosphere of rural Slovenia.

At Camp Zaplana, we continue to believe that camping is more than just accommodation. It is about experiences, flavors, people, and memories. 

Throughout the season, guests can expect home-grown food from our gardens and greenhouse, homemade drinks, and small culinary evenings inspired by local traditions. We are also preparing cultural and community events where travelers and locals can meet, share stories, music, food, and ideas.
