Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed in shared areas. Camp Zaplana is a smoke-free environment in common spaces. Since we are located close to the forest, we kindly ask guests to respect nature and other visitors and only smoke in designated private areas where it does not affect others.
What if we arrive very late?
Our reception is open until 10:00 p.m. After this time, check-in and vehicle access to the campsite are not possible. We kindly ask guests to plan their arrival accordingly. Important: Our regular check-in time is until 9:00 p.m.!
Can we have an open fire?
Depending on weather conditions and fire safety regulations. Fire and/or BBQ is only allowed in our or yours designated fire-protected system and must be arranged in advance. An additional fee may apply if you use our system. Please always check with us before lighting any fire and/or BBQ.
Is loud audio or video allowed?
No. Camp Zaplana maintains a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Loud music, speakers, or disturbing noise are not permitted. However, from time to time we host spontaneous small live music events, where guests can enjoy music in a shared and respectful environment.
Are drones allowed?
No. Drone flights are not allowed on the campsite. All areas are private property, and we do not have permission to allow drone operations over the site, for privacy and safety reasons.
Are cats and dogs allowed?
Yes, cats and dogs are very welcome and stay free of charge. However, in shared areas they must always be kept on a leash. For more comfort and safety, you can also rent a fenced pet area (animal enclosure) for private use during your stay.
Is the campsite under video surveillance?
Yes, shared areas are under video surveillance for safety and security reasons.
What if we have more than one tent?
No problem. Guests are charged based on the number of people, not the number of tents.
What if all guests need electricity?
We have a limited electricity capacity. We always try to find the best possible solution for all guests, but availability depends on demand and load capacity.
What if we do not like the place after arrival but we already paid a deposit?
The deposit is non-refundable. However, if you decide to leave early or not stay, there are no additional charges beyond the deposit already paid.
What if we do not like the place and we did not pay a deposit?
If you use our facilities (toilets, shower, etc.), the stay will be charged as a day visit. Any additional services used (such as dump station, rent-a-tent, etc.) will be charged according to our price list. In this case, we will refund the difference and any applicable tourist taxes.
